Company History

January 1992 Started business as a planning, sales, and trading company of cosmetics and cosmetic accessories. From design to quality management, handled total planning, sales, and trading for major international cosmetic brands such as Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
February 1998 Established ZEROONE PRODUCTS. LLC., and expanded its businesses.
April 1999 Developed new wood sheet that is impregnated with resin to make wood itself flexible and durable. Certified by "Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Basic Act", it applied to patent. Opened the research center at Ryukoku Extension Center (REC) to keep improving and developing the flexible wood sheet together with Ryukoku University.
December 1999 Its flexible wood sheet research and developing project received the Excellency award at "Osaka Venture Business Competition, 1999 ", and received a government grant.
February 2000 Exhibited handbags and fashion accessories made by flexible wood sheet at "Venture EXPO 2000" held by Japan Economic Newspaper. Its uniqueness was highly evaluated and received the Excellency award.
August 2000 Company upgraded its status from limited liability corporation to corporation. Also, established "Onlyone Products, Inc." in the U.S.A. as an international sales branch.
January 2001 Exhibited at "Venture Fair Japan" at Tokyo International Forum held by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and received high recognition.
June 2001 Succeeded to develop more eco-friendly real flexible wood sheet, , that is impregnated with natural biocompatible resin. (Applied to Patent).
July 2001 Launched a fashion accessory brand, "HIGGIE", that utilizes as its material.
March 2002 Received a recognition and certified by "Act on Supporting Business Innovation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise".
August 2002 Awarded as a finalist at "The 2nd Business Contest in Japan" held by Japan MIT Enterprise Forum.
March 2004 Real flexible wood sheet, was patented in Japan.
August 2005 Real flexible wood sheet, was patented in the U.S.A. (As Flexible Natural Wood Sheet).
July 2009 Increased its capital to 70 million yen. Opened Tokyo branch in Shibuya, Tokyo.
July 2009 Awarded "Third MONOTSUKURI AWARD".
October 2010 Its products were exhibited at 2010 Japan APEC as a representative of Japan Enterprise. Also, its "VEGATWOOD" products were presented as a gift to the first ladies of each attended countries. (Japan Foreign Ministry)
October 2010 Selected as a "JAPAN Brand" for the overseas business development support by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
June 2011 Selected as a "JAPAN Brand" for the overseas business development support by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, for the 2nd year.
March 2012 Closed Tokyo branch.
May 2013 Established IMW method.
November 2015 Exhibited at Technology Exposition at World Engineering Conference and Convention.
